GMP+

Animal feed constitutes an important stage of the livestock production chain. Just like food for human consumption, it is expected to meet high safety standards. In order to put into effect their requirements, the Dutch Productshap Diervoeder (PDV) developed the GMP+ standard. It combines the requirements of ISO 9001 and those of the Codex Alimentarius, and is applicable throughout the feed supply chain. PDV calls for all suppliers worldwide to participate in this system.

GMP+ – for whom?

GMP+ applies to the entire supply chain, from the producers of raw materials to the manufacturers of animal feed and feed ingredients, and the distributors who trade with the Dutch feed industry.
